Josh Shifrin, LPC-Associate

My work is rooted in connection and guided by curiosity, compassion, and presence. I offer individual virtual therapy through an integrative approach—drawing from Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Existential Therapy, and mindfulness practices. Each session is shaped by your story, your goals, and your rhythm, unfolding at a pace that respects where you are.

I work with adults across Texas through virtual therapy.

For clients seeking deeper experiential work, I also offer in-person Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in Austin in a supportive, ethically grounded setting. This modality can help create new access to emotion and insight, and we bring what emerges into the integration work that follows.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and have had the privilege of walking alongside adults from a wide range of identities, experiences, and backgrounds. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, or a deeper search for purpose, I’m here to support your process with steadiness and respect.

I’m committed to inclusive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. Whoever you are and wherever you’re starting from, your story matters. I’d be honored to hold space for your healing and growth—whether through virtual therapy or in-person KAP.
