Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines a ketamine experience with supportive, integrative psychotherapy. For some people, it can create a different kind of access to emotion and insight—especially when they’ve been feeling stuck in familiar patterns for a long time.

In my practice, ketamine is administered onsite in Austin by a board-certified physician who remains present throughout the medicine session. I stay with you during the experience to provide therapeutic grounding, emotional support, and gentle guidance as needed, helping create a setting that feels intentional, supported, and safe.

This work isn’t only about the medicine session. Preparation and integration are essential parts of the process. We’ll prepare intentionally beforehand, and afterward we’ll use integration sessions to explore what came up, make meaning of the experience, and connect those insights to the way you relate to yourself, your relationships, and your life. Many clients describe increased clarity, emotional flexibility, and a renewed sense of connection to what matters most.

It’s also important to know that KAP isn’t the right fit for everyone. We’ll take time to understand your goals, history, and support system, while the medical provider evaluates whether ketamine is medically appropriate for you. Together, we’ll consider whether KAP fits your needs and where you are in the therapeutic process.

KAP is one part of my integrative work as a therapist. If you’d like, you can also learn more about how I approach therapy.

I offer a free 60-minute consultation so we can talk about what you’re going through and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
